brandywine421 gave me the letter N in her random Tuesday letter meme. I had to come up with 10 things that start with the letter N that I love. If you'd like to join in, just comment and I'll give you a letter!ETA totally had this all written out, then my computer flipped over doing the user tage for Brandywine and restarted itself, losing me all my information and screwing up my post so I had to delete it. grrr.
1. Naps. Totally improve my mood when I can grab them. Not often enough, but still awesome when I manage to sneak either 20 minutes or 2 hours.
2. Nephews. I have 4. Scott and Mike are both 16 (eleven months apart) and live with me. Mike is the oldest, but he has a seperated brain and therefore acts more like he's around 8. The sweetest boy you ever met when he's not throwing a temper tantrum. Scott is extremely mature for his age, picking up the slack for the household when Mom is sick and I'm at work. A complete loner, and reminds me of myself at his age. He's so different from other boys his age he only has one or two friends and is quite content with that fact. Has high morals without being prodded. Such a good kid. My pride and joy, I think.
Stephen, 16, and A.J., 12, are my sisters kids. They live about 5 min. from us and are hellions. Good kids, mostly, but they've never had a stable life thanks to my sister who is a little bit immature for her age. Stephen's out on the streets at all hours and she won't know where he is. A.J. is hyper and loud and spoiling for attention. I love them all.

3. Net, the. I know I cheated there but what the hell. I had so many friends from all over the world after my time in Yellowstone and Death Valley that if it weren't for email and IM's, I'd have surely lost touch. And I've met so many more, especially through livejournal and yahoo. Not to mention the hours of entertainment with all the fic and the videos and the porn!fic.
4. Nevada. Because it has Las Vegas and a bit of Death Valley. Ok, so I lived on the California side of the border. But every two weeks, my boyfriend and I would rent a car from Enterprise (they picked us up from Pahrump, an hour outside the park!) and we drove out to Las Vegas. I was 19 and couldn't gamble, but I still had a blast. And OMG the Aladdin Resort and Casino's bathrooms. Seperate rooms for the shower and toilet, 2 full lenght marble sinks with mirrors, and a HUGE bathtub smack in the middle with a table to put candles and stuff on. For 69 bucks. yeah, baby.
5. Nachos with Cheese sauce. And depending on my mood, Chili!! mmmmmm...
6. Nature. My friend. Instant stress reliever. Doesn't matter if I'm hiking or camping or whatever. My shoulders unwind and I can charge my batteries. I hate winter because it's too cold in Ohio to go out. During the summer, I go out ot the many state parks in the surrounding areas. It's a great way to relax.
7. NCIS. TV show. Snarktastic. And Mark Harmon is hot for his age. Abby is my hero.
8. National Parks. My favorite is Yellowstone, I hope to end up back out there in that area eventually.
9. Night time. I'm at natural night owl. Maybe because there are less people around to annoy me when I'm out and about, I don't know. It's just so quiet compared to the hectic daytime. I swear my biological clock thinks that 4am is bedtime.
10. News. And not the sensationalized crap on MSNBC or FOX news, either. I think everyone should be knowledgable about what is going on in the country/world around them. I also think that nowadays you have to dig that much deeper to find something not put out by our large propaganda machine called the American governments. I think we wouldn't be in half the messes we are now if people just knew what the hell was going on instead of expecting someone else to keep our government honest.
