Today was my nephew Mike's birthday party. He turned 17 on Wednesday.
OMG He's 17. That makes me feel so old! He got three new PS2 games. He was so excited he was shaking! Such a sweetheart, he is.
His Dad, my brother, came over. He claimed both of his boys on his taxes to get the extra money back even though they don't live with him because they live with me. He said he needed it to put a down payment on his new house. And yet.... He bought a boat, and a computer, and a car piece for his friends car. Meanwhile, all the money I put into raising his kids stays gone. I'm a little pissed. They are his kids and I'm the one support them. He pays child support, but that comes no where near enough to pay even the basics for them. /rant over/
Yesterday, we found out one of my sister's kids had stolen games, and a game boy, and a brand new mp3 player from one of my kids. I had to ban him from my house, which hurt, but he's escalating and I don't really feel he's sorry for what he did. My kids don't have much stuff, he has a father that would give him anything he asked for. I can't have him take stuff from them.
Seen Ben Stiller's Night At the Museum! Great movie. I giggled alot.
Anyone want any puppies? My sister's dog just had six last night. Cutest little things in the world! Half mutt, half full blood Sharpei. They turn out wrinkly. So freakin adorable.
