Got back early this morning from the hospital.... only to come down with a migraine about an hour later.  That's gone now, Thank God, but I digress.

Went into the hospital, they got me going on oxygen, and an IV, and heart monitors, took some blood and some X-rays.
Found out I was having PVC's, (which is kind of like your heart beating backwards) way too often for comfort, and that's what felt like I was feeling my heart kick and then it not beat.  Everyone has them, it was that they were so freakin' often then and strong enough that I could feel them that makes it weird.

Having them so often and developing them so suddenly with such frequency CAN be a bad thing.  Or stress about school, but the major stress out about school was over with, and I was quite bored at the time, so I don't think it's that.  Might be some other mundane thing though.  Knowing my luck. ;)

It's still happening, but not nearly as often, and I'm only dizzy if it happens a few times close together.  I shouldn't drive until I get the dizzyness settled, but other than that it's okay.  I've got medication coming to me that's supposed to help.  Medication I took for 13 years of my childhood actually. :D

Thanks for all of those that sent me good luck wishes, and the few that called to check up on me.  You guys are great, and who knows, maybe it worked!!!

I'm a firm believer in Kharma, so I'll keep sending good thoughts and wishes this way. Hopefully, it will stop happening so much and you can relax and be healthy :D

Thanks! They couldn't even get me in for a follow-up appt until Feb 20th, so I'm really putting my money down on the medicine. I can't just NOT drive until then, no way.

Not driving must be a real pain :-( I'm glad you're home though and at least it sounds as though they might know what's happening to you and have a fix for it. I hope you're better soon, and driving again :-)

Yeah, it's already causing problems since my brother still has his truck broke down. And of course when I can't drive is always when I want to. Grrrr.

Thanks, lovely!

Yeah, but more spread out now, which makes me want to pass out a whole lot less. I can deal. What's worse is that the medicine 1) doesn't stop the PVC's and 2)it slowed my heart rate down (which is okay, because it was too fast anyways) and it takes forever for it to increase the way I need it to when I start to move around. I just got back from the store and had to take stop breaks along the way.

I think I'll try a half dose tomorrow. :(

Sucktastic! Is there any sort of alternative medication you can take?

There's a whole list of stuff, but considering this was just a stop gap until my appt. next month with a cardiologist to figure out the why of it, it might just be easier to go without anything until then. I'm more worried about what a permanent fix might be. They were talking in-body defibrillators and stuff. EEEEeeeewwww. I've already had a pacemaker put in then taken back out, I don't want more hardware in.

Wow, that sounds extreme! And like it might possibly give you superhero powers of electrocution.
